The 1401plus is a highly respected computer interface used in laboratories worldwide for capturing and analysing experiment data with a PC or Macintosh host computer.

The 1401plus records waveform data, digital (event) data and marker information, and can generate waveform and digital outputs simultaneously for real time, multi-tasking experiment control. The 1401plus features a 32-bit internal microprocessor and on-board memory to facilitate high speed data capture and complex on-line analysis, freeing valuable time for the host computer to perform other tasks, such as updating the display and writing the data to hard disk.

The modular design of the 1401plus enables users to upgrade their systems to benefit from new technology and to add additional modules for specialist signal processing. Optional modules include:
